The project uses a variety of manipulation techniques to create innovative designs that are playful and tactile. Using traditional embroidery techniques, Wray has pushed the boundaries of embroidery to create unique designs that reflect a surreal narrative. The use of vibrant colours enhances the sculptural forms by showing contrasting elements.

Anonymously chosen to receive an award for her graduate project 'Touch Diversion', Wray was presented with the Chancellors Prize for,
"Outstanding achievement by an undergraduate student"
'CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION IN EMBROIDERY PRIZE'
Wray received the award for 'Touch Diversion' project from the School of Art, Design and Architecture of Huddersfield University.
